Rún Valdr sistem

Rún Valdr (which means "Rune Power" or "Rune Authority) is a system of energy healing and spiritual development that employs the ancient Norse Runes with additional channelled symbols of power. The Norse Runes are more than just 'letters' or an 'alphabet' (although they were used for writing). They were also symbols of power, each depicting and evoking a different component/facet of the Universal Light energy that permeates all creation. These symbols were used for many purposes including healing, protection and magic.

The Rún Valdr system was devised by Rodney Cox - a dedicated Priest in the Northern Tradition. Through his spiritual work, study of the Runes and his communication with his gods, Odin (God of the Runes, poetry & magic) and Freya (Goddess of fertility & love), the Run Valdr system gradually took shape. And through practice, Rodney (and many others since) recognised the power and authenticity of Run Valdr.

As well as being a wonderful method of passing on Universal Light energy (also called Reiki, Chi, Prana, Odic Energy and Universal Life Force Energy) for healing, Run Valdr empowers the practitioner to direct the healing through the application of specific Runes and symbols that are most beneficial. The active role taken by the practitioner is very different from the more passive function of the healer in other systems. This major difference leads to a more shamanic healing experience with Run Valdr than with other energy healings..

Many healing systems that have developed in recent years combine the teachings of Usui Reiki with additional techniques and symbols. Although, as an energy healing system, Run Valdr may be compared with techniques such as Reiki, it is a system complete in itself and is far more versatile in its application.

In addition to working with Run Valdr to effect healing, it may also be used for magical purposes for creating sacred objects or attuning them to be used for specific purposes and so on. The possibilities for using Run Valdr in this way are virtually endless - the system is so comprehensive that the potential applications are limited only by the ideas and practices of the person who works with it. Therefore, while regularly working with this system, the Run Valdr applications grow and develop with the knowledge and experience of the practitioner.

Universal Light

Universal Light (also called: Ki, Chi, Prana, Odic Energy, Universal Life Force Energy and by many other names) may be considered full-spectrum, white light. In the Northern Tradition, this energy is called "Ond". Universal Light is of a very high vibration and is not visible to the (human) eye - but it permeates the whole creation.

All creation derives from this Source of energy; all creation is an expression of this energy; and all creation is sustained by this energy. This full-spectrum spiritual Light is the energy we channel when we work with RUn Valdr to pass on energy for healing or attunement.

As with the visible light of the electro-magnetic spectrum, Universal Light may also be 'refracted' (split into its component parts) to be expressed as rays of different coloured spiritual light which are often worked with in other systems such as "The Rainbow Light Healing System". In addition, the ancient Norse Runes express different 'facets' of this energy and many symbols employed in this, and other systems, express specific components of this energy.
